Halloween Cards

Hello Everyone! Here is the card I made for my grandkids for Halloween. It is so very simple - made completly of stickers. (I know it's cheating, but they are so cute!) My granddaughter is dressing up like a bat again this year. She really loves bats (and most other critters.)

I can't believe it is already the end of October!!! There are only eight weeks left until Christmas! Where did this year go? I guess I'd better finish my Christmas cards soon. Thanks for stopping by today. I'll post another of my Halloween cards soon.

Yoga class

My friend Lou Ellen asked me to make a thank-you card for her yoga instructor. I had been looking at this awesome stamp set from My Favorite Things (see link below, left) for a while now, and her request gave me a reason to order it. It is another of what I call their "headless" sets, which I love. This set is called 'Serenity Now' and has two main images, two smaller images and four sentiments. I'm very pleased with the way the card turned out, and Lou Ellen loved it too! Thanks for stopping by today and have a great evening.

Stitches

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a great day. I made this card about two weeks ago and never posted it! Anyway, I love the stitched patterned paper because I used to cross-stitch and, it goes with this wonderful SU stamp set so well. I used my fake brads from Joann's and some cardstock I had on hand. This card is simple, but sweet! Thanks for stopping by today.

Card Re-Do

The card I posted on October 15th has been revised! I posted it and then was not at all happy with the way it turned out. So, I took it apart and started over. Here is the result. I think I like it a lot better this way. I've had another very busy week, but I promised myself that I will make more time to stamp. I miss spending time in my 'studio' and I have some cool new stamps waiting for me to play with up there.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great week!

Mmmm...cookies

Hello - It's been a while again, but I'm back! I made this card for our wonderful front office secretary at work. She bakes the BEST cookies and brings them in for everyone at work to enjoy, at least once a week. We all appreciate her and I found this cool paper at Archiver's yesterday. (My BFF Katy and I went on a shop-hop of our own and had a great day.) As soon as I saw the paper, I knew I had to make a card for Nancy. I had the ribbon in my stash from Michael's one dollar bin, and it matched perfectly. The inside sentiment is "Thank You! For making the best cookies in the world ...and sharing them with us!"

This was the perfect card for World Cardmaking Day. Thanks for stopping by today.
