World Card Making Day

Hello! My daughter Dawn was here visiting from Tacoma, WA on October 1st, which also happened to be World Card Making Day. We made two of these cards each that morning and are very pleased with them. I made one a few years ago at a stamp camp and thought it was worth making again.
We had a GREAT visit and I am going to Washington in November for a week. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Sounds like you had a nice visit and hard to believe November is just 3 weeks away. Love the simplicity on your card. Is it a special fold - ribbons have me wondering.

Hi Birdie,
The ribbons are holding a 1/4" fold and attach to the 3" front flap of the card. The sentiment is behind the flap and the rest of the card is flat. I hope I explained that ok. Thanks for the comment.

What a pretty card Mom. Love the black vase and the color you chose to use for the card. :) Nice to see another post! :) Love you!

Lovely card. Thanks for explaining it in more detail -- understanding makes it even more special.
Glad you had a nice visit with your daughter. Won't be long now and you will be on your way to Washington!
